Introducing OUR Monthly Themes

 Introducing OUR Monthly Themes

As I talk to clients about the year, we are already past January, so I hear some rumblings about new year, it’s easy to think about all the things that we haven’t accomplished yet or how the year hasn’t started exactly how we wanted it to. That’s ok.

And these conversations actually gave me an idea. It’s not fully baked, but I want to share it with you because I think I need your help to finish building it.

We are building a community, building a rhythm into our program – I’ve seen each of my clients have their own rhythm to the daily, weekly, monthly and even to the year. I want to work with that. I want to use that to set up something that works.

So, as I write this, I am putting a plan together to:

  • Build intentional steps around each month – each month is going to have a theme

  • Build progressively and fit together for a whole year – each month will stand alone AND build to an annual routine that can yield progress.

Example:

January – Everyone wants to think about a Jumpstart. Jumpstart January sounds great. BUT, what if we don’t put so much pressure on that coldest, longest month of the year? What if we change what jumpstart means by building steps to make that month, by itself, something we can make stronger.

Good news, it’s February, so we aren’t worried about January anyway. We have 11 months before we need to worry about that. AND, we are going to be putting this together the whole time, so it won’t be thing by then. Trust me.

But what about February? We are into month 2 of the year, so we need a focus for this month. February is about Foundation. February Foundation. I like it.

This month is about building your Foundation – think simple, foundational things like sleep, nutrition, movement – we are not talking about trying to add last month’s goals to this month and fighting harder. Instead, we are talking about slowing down and looking at the very foundation of your plan, of your life. We are building systems, not just throwing out inspiration. This isn’t just ‘rah-rah’ let’s do more. This is a chance for you to define your non-negotiables. This is your chance to establish the support you need to keep your goals in place.

That is why I’m building this. More accurately, WE are building this plan. You are going to help me put these months together. And put the outline together, so we have the whole year mapped out. Now we just have to work together each month to work on that theme. I will lay out the theme and YOU will be building intentional steps into each month.

It’s your plan.

I will help you figure those specific steps out and we will work through any challenges along the way.

So stay tuned for more on our February plan and join in for future months. Or, better yet, jump in and share what you are struggling with. Whether you are reading it here, watched a video on social media, or both, we are working on this together. Share what you need. Share what you’ve been thinking about. Share what has been challenging. What was tough in January? What do you want to do in February? Comment below, reach out to me directly, go to the video you watched and leave a comment, or whatever works best for you.

This will be a platform for information, updates and a place to share success stories. I will continue to add articles. WE will continue to put pen to paper and get all of these concepts down in clear, simple language for everyone to use going forward.

I can’t wait to hear from you and see how we can all make progress together.
